We’re so glad you’re here.

Welcome to Better Life Partners! Let’s get to know each other a little better.

Small first steps.

Get your medications

If medications are part of your care, we do our part to make sure you can always get a prescription before you need it. By the time you get this message, you may have already picked up your first prescription from us. We’ll fill a prescription until your next appointment, giving you peace of mind so you can focus on getting better.

Our promise to you.

You might hear us call ourselves a “harm reduction organization.” Here’s what that means to us:

Your recovery, your rules.

Recovery looks different for everyone because everyone is different. For some it means cutting back, and for others it might mean cutting it out completely. You know what’s best for you, so you’re in charge of your path. We’re here to walk that path with you. If something we offer is not or no longer working for your path, just let us know so we can work on getting you what you prefer.

Our door is always open.

You’re welcome in our program if you use substances, start using again, stop using altogether, or miss appointments. (Though we’d love a heads up when you can!) We are and will be here for all of it! We’re kind of obsessed with being here for whatever twists and turns come your way.

What to expect from our program.

Setting a treatment plan

If you take medication with us, join your Clinical Assessment appointment to get your next refill. It’s also a chance for us to learn more about your care needs and preferences so that we can help get you the services that work best for you.

If you don’t yet have your Clinical Assessment scheduled, let us know and we’ll find a time that works for you.

Medications to help you feel well

We offer medications wherever appropriate. Not everyone wants or is ready for medications, and that’s okay too. If they’re a part of your plan, our whole team will make sure you have them on-schedule so you don’t have to do without.

Scheduled counselor and provider sessions allow us to check-in and make sure your medications are working for you. If you miss a session, let us know as soon as possible so we can check in and keep your refills on-track.

Group counseling

You’ll likely join a regular group-based therapy session. Our therapy groups are facilitated by a licensed counselor who follows a core curriculum that has been tested with more than 15,000 members and found to work.

Monthly provider meetings

Once a month, you’ll be joined by a medical provider. Your provider will talk to you about how you’re feeling, and answer any questions about your medication dosage to keep your prescription up to date.

Whole health care

We see the whole you—and we treat the whole you, too. From anxiety and depression to asthma and headaches, our team is ready to respond to your health needs.

Meet your care team.

As a member, you now have a care team of medical providers, counselors, and support staff in your corner.

Central

Central is your one-stop destination for member support, from scheduling make-up meetings to resolving prescription issues. We’re here to help via phone call or text.

Medical Providers

Providers help you get the medical care you need, including prescribing and managing medication as appropriate.

Counselors

Counselors help you rebuild social support for meaningful and lasting recovery. They coach our members one-on-one and facilitate peer counseling.

Care support team

You’ll have a team of coordinators, recovery coaches, and more support staff on your side to ensure you get care for the whole you. They connect members with the other support and services they need, whether from us or others in the community.
